DECK SAGE
A starting point for your next deck

Explore Commander precons

A preconstructed Commander deck gives you a ready-made list to explore before you make it your own. Compare commanders, colors and decklists with Deck Sage’s free tools.

Browse this guide without an account or JavaScript. Saving a private deck in the tools requires sign-in.

Choose a starting point, then inspect the list

  1. Start with a commander or color combination you want to try.
  2. Open a deck in the Precon Vault to inspect its stock cards and quantities. Precons are a starting point, not a guarantee of power or suitability for your playgroup.
  3. Use the deck tools to review possible upgrades. Rules and deck-fit checks guide recommendations; optional AI coaching is a separate feature on compatible devices.

These are public preconstructed lists. Your saved custom decks and collection remain private.

12 precons from the public catalog

This selection includes released paper Commander lists from our validated catalog snapshot. Open the interactive Vault for the full catalog, filters and card details.

Catalog data: MTGJSON (new tab), under the MIT license. Deck details and release dates reflect the catalog snapshot, not a stock or price guarantee.

Want to shop a deck’s cards?

Buying cards is optional and separate from using Deck Sage’s free tools. Open a deck in the Precon Vault, copy its list for Mass Entry, then paste it into TCGplayer and review matches, quantities, printings, condition and prices. Nothing is added to a cart by Deck Sage.

Website tools are free to use. Physical cards cost money, and purchasing them is optional. Affiliate link — Deck Sage may earn a commission on qualifying purchases.

Mass Entry buys individual cards after you review them. For a sealed precon, use the separate product-search option inside the deck view and verify the edition and contents.
